How sweet! The heartwarming moment radio star Tommy Little organises for a taxi driver’s family to be reunited in time for Mother’s Day
Tommy Little has shown his softer side.
The Hit Network radio host arranged the most amazing surprise for a 13cabs driver in time for Mother’s Day this Sunday.
In footage shared to the station’s social media pages on Friday, the 34-year-old reunited Dhruv with his mother Peenu, who lives in India.

In the video, Tommy greeted Dhruv at the airport, with the cab driver assuming he was was there to transport the comedian.
However Dhruv was lost for words when it was revealed Tommy had in fact arranged for his mother Peenu to fly to Australia from India.
Peenu, who lives three hours north of New Delhi, explained to Tommy how Dhruv is a ‘mummy’s boy’ and finds the separation very difficult.

Dhruv’s wife Renu echoed the same thoughts, revealing how her husband would ‘cry like a baby’ while away from his mother.
Dressed in his signature check work shirt and trousers, Dhruv walked towards his mother inside the terminal and embraced her tightly.

‘We thought we’d surprise you and give you the best Mother’s Day ever,’ a heartfelt Tommy told Dhruv.
Fans of the radio station were quick to praise Tommy for his efforts, with one writing on Facebook: ‘This is the best thing ever!’
Tommy began his career as a stand-up comedian in Melbourne, and by 2014 had joined the panel on Channel Ten’s The Project.
He also co-hosts a weekday radio show on the Hit Network with Carrie Bickmore.
