Tori Spelling has denied rumors of a rivalry with her Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Shannen Doherty.
Talk of a feud between the two began after Doherty left the show after its fourth season in 1994.
On Monday’s Daddy Issues podcast, co-hosted by her husband Dean McDermott, Spelling insisted that she ‘never’ had a feud with her costar.

‘Like, it’s so funny, they used to… We were really close on the show.
‘Like, she was one of my best friends.
‘And then when she left the show, there were like all these, like, press things that came out, like, this rivalry, and it was never with us!’ Spelling said.
What feud? Spelling and Doherty were photographed at the Universal Studios in Universal City, California for the 18th Annual People’s Choice Awards in 1992
Spelling continued: ‘But, you know, the press makes what they want and you don’t want to say anything because you’re told, like, ‘Don’t say anything.’
‘It doesn’t really go away. So yeah, no, she’s great. I saw her recently. She’s an awesome person.’
Spelling’s admission may come as a surprise to those who tuned in for her October 2015 Lifetime special, Tori Spelling: Celebrity Lie Detector.
On the show, Spelling divulged her involvement with Doherty’s firing from the show after season 4.
Acting brand new: The cast will return to the small screen together for BH90210, a six-episode reprisal of the hit series out in August
Spelling said that she had reported a physical altercation between Doherty and costar Jennie Garth to her father, executive producer Aaron Spelling, which ended in Doherty’s removal from the show.
‘I felt like I was a part of something, a movement, that cost someone their livelihood,’ Spelling revealed in a tearful admission on the show.
‘Was she a horrible person? No. She was one of the best friends I ever had.’

The original Beverly Hills, 90210, was on-air from 1990-2000.
The series starred Spelling, Doherty, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris and the late Luke Perry.
Doherty, Spelling, and their costars will reunite in BH90210, a six-episode reprisal of the hit series, on August 7.
Fans will likely welcome Doherty’s return to the small screen from a brush with breast cancer.
The actress received her diagnosis in 2015 – but is now in remission after a single masectomy and several rounds of radiation.
‘As brutal as it was, cancer was a gift,’ she said.
‘It opened me up, it taught me about myself, and it changed me as a human being forever.’
