‘It’s always extra special to come home’: Troye Sivan announces his Australian Bloom tour – and apologises for taking so long to tour Down Under
Troye Sivan has finally announced Australian dates for his Bloom tour.
The Perth-born star made the exciting announcement on Friday morning, and also issued a public apology for taking so long to tour in his home country.
‘I want to take this moment to publicly apologise at how long it’s taken me to do this,’ he told host Edwina Bartholomew.

‘For the record, it’s absolutely not my fault, I’ve been literally emailing every day saying, “When are we going to Australia?”,’ he added.
The 24-year-old said that fans could expect to see his Bloom album ‘come to life’ on stage.
‘For me, playing in Australia is like coming home and I really put a lot of pressure on myself to get out there and do a good job,’ he said.
Troye will kick off the tour in Perth at HBF Stadium on September 16, before making stops in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

The star will also perform in Auckland, New Zealand, on September 13.
Troye’s sophomore album Bloom was released last August to critical acclaim.
It reached No. 3 on Australia’s ARIA chart and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
The album produced a number of hits, including ‘My My My!’ and ‘Dance to This’ featuring Ariana Grande.
Tickets for The Bloom Tour go on sale Friday, June 28.
