Vanderpump Rules’ Katie Maloney fires back at ‘four glorious years’ of pregnancy rumors: ‘Yes, I gained weight, but like, whatever’
Katie Maloney is tired of rumors that she’s pregnant, and now she’s fighting back.
The Vanderpump Rules star took to Instagram to address the ‘four glorious years’ the grapevine has spent speculating on her body.
Maloney, 32, Insta-storied a video on Tuesday with the message: ‘It’s been four glorious years of pregnancy rumors for me and a lot of people think that I’m pregnant because I gained weight.
Over it: Katie Maloney is tired of rumors that she’s pregnant, and now she’s fighting back
‘Pregnant women are not fat. They are pregnant. They are creating a life inside of them. Um, yes, I gained weight but like, whatever. People do that sometimes.’
She also set the record straight that her penchant for ‘baggy clothes’ is past the point when it comes to proving a baby bump.
‘I love big T-shirts, I love big sweatshirts. It’s just like there’s nothing better and there’s not one person that’s going to disagree with me on that.

Ouch: Maloney has seen the need to clap back at pregnancy-related comments multiple times in the past, as she did in this tweet
Lovebirds: Maloney has been married to Tom Schwartz since August 2016
‘And the only thing I’m hiding under my baggy clothes is a really fire body.’
Maloney has seen the need to clap back at pregnancy-related comments multiple times in the past.
Last year, the reality star tweeted: ‘I have been getting congratulations for being pregnant for nearly 2 years but have not received a single present. Smh.’
And on the latest season of the show, jaws dropped when Maloney’s DJ co-star James Kennedy commanded her to ‘lose some f***ing weight.’
It was then that she urged head honcho Lisa Vanderpump to make a decision – either get rid of Kennedy for his comment or lose her support completely.
Though the talk may sting, Maloney is doing her best to help others pump up the self-love.
She told Bravo TV’s The Lookbook, as reported by E! News: ‘I will never forget the way those comments made me feel, which is why I feel it’s my duty to stand up to it. We are human, we are not made of steel.’
‘So I’m channeling my newfound confidence into a positive energy to fight back against harsh criticism.
She concluded: ‘I want everyone to know they are worthy and remind themselves of that every day.
‘Tune out the noise, focus on what you have (and not what you don’t), and learn to love it!
‘I think it’s always great to improve yourself for your own happiness, whatever that means to you.’
Maloney made her marriage to Tom Schwartz official with a second wedding in July.
