El’ise confessed that her postnatal anxiety was triggered when there were frequent reports of terrorist attacks in the news.

‘I was on edge and couldn’t even go to the shopping centre. I felt really anxious.’

El’ise emphasised that she wasn’t suffering from postnatal depression, but her feelings were nonetheless ‘scary’.

She believes her anxiety stemmed from the overwhelming responsibility of juggling three children while ‘only [having] two hands’.

‘If something happened, who would I leave behind? The stupid games you play in your head..,’ she said.

Matt, 39, told TV Week he found it difficult when his wife would come home and he didn’t know why she was crying.

Fortunately, El’ise recovered from her anxiety after three months of using natural medicines.

El’ise and Matt share three children: Baxter, eight, Charlize, six, and Maverick, five.
