He paired his mismatched ensemble with blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms, which featured the brand’s trademark white stripes.

Will, who won the first series of Pop Idol in 2002, completed his colourful outfit with a Chicago Bulls baseball cap and opted for chunky black leather boots.

In the rehearsal, the musician was seen standing ahead of a large group of dancers who stepped slowly forwards in a triangle formation.

He was later seen standing on a step above the group as they fell to their knees and reached up towards him.

He has since released seven studio albums, including his June 14 release Lexicon, and taken part in six headline tours, with a seventh upcoming.

The musician also appeared on the 14th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, but withdrew from the show after reportedly ‘squabbling’ with professional dancer Karen Clifton.

A statement at the time said: ‘To be a part of Strictly has been a long time ambition of mine.

‘I have found a creative partnership with Karen that has been the most wonderful thing to experience.

‘Unfortunately, I am leaving the show for personal reasons. I leave with joy in my heart that I have been able to take part in one of the most loved shows on British television.’
